Join The Gab Storytelling Group for a special evening of stories, laughter, and local talent on Tuesday, 18th August, as storytellers from Blarney and Whitechurch come together to take over the Community Centre for a celebration of the spoken word.
With strong representation from Whitechurch alongside The Gab's Blarney-based storytellers, the evening promises to showcase exactly why Blarney has long been associated with the gift of storytelling. From humorous tales and personal anecdotes to captivating folklore and memorable characters, this will be a night where stories connect communities and spark imaginations.
The event is provisionally planned as an outdoor gathering, allowing audiences to enjoy the atmosphere of a summer evening under the open sky. However, as with all things Irish, the weather will have the final say, and the event may move indoors if conditions are not suitable.
